This project, in partnership with the Zavit organization,

is an awareness video about the lowest place on Earth- the Dead Sea.

As time passes, the salty Dead Sea is drying up and sinkholes are multiplying, threatening the landmark once declared one of the natural wonders of

the world. In this stop-motion animation, I created my personal interpretation of the lake’s current state. Using paper (a lot of paper!), I conveyed both its fragility and the destructive forces affecting it.

The project involved 6 sets (70×50 cm), thousands of photos, countless paper cuts, and a huge amount of recycled paper, all brought together to create

a tactile, immersive visual experience.
